Cellular Recycler offers end-of-life (EOL) recycling programs that provide a simple and effective way to generate revenue from EOL product. Our proprietary software provides IMEI/ESN online traceability throughout the entire trade in process. We provide flat pricing for each make and model regardless of condition, and we even recycle accessories at no cost.
Reducing human errors in electronics recycling
Our proprietary software, iCRIS, reduces human error in receiving, triage, and reporting with double-entry error avoidance and smart batching with IMEI tracking for transparency. The smart batch system allows the IMEI/ESN to travel with the phone throughout the system until final destination is reached. All data entry is done by prepopulated databases, dropdown menus, and barcodes using scan guns.
R2 Certified
Cellular Recycler holds the R2/ISO certification, which ensures our testing, training, data clearing, inventory, and quality control exceed industry standards. Every certified R2 recycler is rigorously audited by an independent third-party in more than 50 areas of operational and environmental performance. R2/ISO also ensures that each handset, hard drive and SD card is data cleared to the NIST’s special publication 800-88 guidelines for media sanitation.

Cellular Recycler’s applications and data storage are fully redundant, and non-recoverable data is hosted at two independent sites. Our hardware is hosted at a PCI, SAS70/SSAE16 certified data center with restricted access, 24x7x365 security, 7 connections to the internet backbone, redundant cooling units, battery backups and diesel generators with automatic satellite fuel ordering.
